The Bazara Developmental Charitable Foundation executed a campaign to clean the shores of Al-Buraiqah Directorate in Aden Governorate with the participation of 300 male and female university student volunteers. This initiative was funded by the Automotive & Machinery Trading Center (AMTC) and supervised by the local authority in the directorate.
Engineer Akram Al-Saqaf, the Executive Director of the Bazara Developmental Charitable Foundation, expressed his utmost delight with the level of participation despite the short notice of the initiative. The overwhelming response from male and female volunteers exceeded expectations, indicating the youth’s keenness to contribute to the service of their city and community.
Bashir Al-Ghalabi, the office manager of the Al-Buraiqah Directorate, extends sincere thanks to the Bazara Foundation and the participating volunteers in the campaign, which was sponsored by the local authority. The local authority plays a role in encouraging and facilitating the activities and projects of institutions and organizations for the benefit of the directorate.
The campaign targeted the shores of the Al-Buraiqah Directorate (Kod Al-Namer and Faqum), focusing on cleaning and removing solid waste. It also included distributing educational brochures to raise awareness within the community and among beachgoers about the importance of environmental cleanliness and the long-term risks of pollution, as well as its dangers to coastal visitors.
Additionally, the initiative involved placing garbage collection barrels on the Faqum coast to guide beachgoers in maintaining cleanliness and properly disposing of waste.
